Project Coordinator
Sahshi Chouhan
Shashi is a passionate advocate for better access to health rights, and has been working with communities to empower change. She started her career during the peak of the HIV/AIDS in India with Apollo Tyres Foundation in 2007. As a health educator, Shashi spearheaded an awareness campaign for over 8 lakh truck drivers on HIV, STD and ART treatment protocols. This was followed by similar work with Castrol India, expanding her expertise in training. She started her own CSO titled Manvika Foundation, aimed at working with vulnerable populations addressing issues like child marriage, rape and other similar challenges. Shashi currently works as a Project Coordinator for the School Eye Health Program, where she takes ETI's flagship program -- of curbing the prevalence of myopia at the school level -- to the classroom.
