Mr Kamath works as a principal lawyer at LawNK, an organization that provides a practical approach to legal practice, with a primary focus on growing Indian sports, media, healthcare and technology ecosystems. He has completed his B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from National Law School of India University, B.CL (with distinction), and M.Sc. (Eco and Soc. History) at the University of Oxford and went on to do his Masters in Law from Harvard Law School .

He specialises in sports law, technology law, governance and regulation. He also is the Managing Trustee of GoSports Foundation, which supports junior athletes and Paralympics in India. ​
