ETI in its continuing partnership with the Embassy of Spain on disability inclusion, hosted a two-day film festival in association with the Embassy of Finland. The film festival screened entries from India, Spain and Finland that talked about varying intersections of life with disability. The event involved an insightful panel discussion with different disability rights activists as well as an entertaining Puppetry performance on the theme of disability. This festival marked ETI’s second prominent event with the Embassy following the event commemorating the World Disability Day.

ETI, in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in India, AECID, and Agatsu Foundation, hosted a special screening of Sitaare Zameen Par, bringing India and Spain together in conversation on disability-focused cinema. The event featured powerful discussions with leaders from film, diplomacy, and advocacy, including Ambassador H.E. Juan Antonio March Pujol, actor-producer Aamir Khan, actor Jesús Vidal, director RS Prasanna, Aparna Purohit of Aamir Khan Productions, and writer Divy -Nidhi Sharma.
In conversation with Ira Khan (Agatsu Foundation) and Sukriti Chauhan (ETI Services), the dialogue highlighted how cinema can be a transformative tool for inclusion—shaping narratives, amplifying lived experiences, and challenging societal barriers faced by persons with disabilities. This initiative reflects ETI’s commitment to creating inclusive spaces where culture, community, and advocacy intersect to drive meaningful change.
