Ms Yachu holds a MA Sociology from Delhi School of Economics and BA (Hons) Sociology from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. She has experience working in the developing sector on issues of intersectional gender rights, education, and public health issues (like tuberculosis, glaucoma, mental health, sexual and reproductive healthcare among others). In her previous stints, she has worked to conduct formative analysis towards identifying the facilitators and barriers in glaucoma care; understanding the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the social, economic and mental health of migrant workers; working to build a positive environment for suicide prevention; women labour-force empowerment; trainings on sexual and reproductive healthcare, among others.
